Don K. Rice

Mr. Rice has a background encompassing mezzanine and equity investing, lending, operating management, investment banking, and security analysis. Mr. Rice was a founding partner of RSTW Partners and its predecessor entities along with Mr. Sangalis, in 1989. He has been involved in more than 75 transactions with investment values of approximately $1 billion. Prior to RSTW, Mr. Rice President of First Texas Merchant Banking Group, a firm providing mezzanine financings.  Mr. Rice has also served as Vice President with PruCapital, Inc. and as Regional Director for E.F. Hutton Corporate Finance. In addition to serving as director and/or advisory director on numerous portfolio companies, Mr. Rice has or is currently serving as a director of the Houston Private Equity Association, The Association for Corporate Growth, the University of Texas School of Business Advisory Council, and the City Year (Americorp) organization. Mr. Rice received his B.B.A. and M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin.
