Managing Partner
Mr. Jackson is a founding partner
of Capital Point Partners. Mr. Jackson has over 20 years
prior experience as Principal and/or Manager of public plan
money management firms, including most recently, 15 years
as a principal with Davis Hamilton Jackson & Associates
("DHJA"), an institutional investment firm with $4 billion
under management. Prior to joining DHJA, Mr Jackson was Vice
President of the Institutional Fixed Income Division of
Capital Municipal Securities. Mr. Jackson also played
professional football with the NFL Atlanta Falcons for
seven years. Mr. Jackson is a Trustee of the Houston Municipal Pension System, and is a past or current board member of the
University of Texas Exes Investment Committee, Houston
Children's Museum, the University of Texas Health Science Center and the Bakari Scholarship
Fund. Mr. Jackson was also appointed to, and currently
serves on, Governor Rick Perry's Economic Council for the
State of Texas. Mr. Jackson received a B.A. from the
University of Texas at Austin.
