Capital Point Partners ("Capital Point"), headquartered in Houston, Texas, is an investment management firm providing mezzanine securities to middle market companies throughout the United States. Capital Point invests in a wide variety of transaction types, including buyouts, recapitalizations and refinancings, mergers and acquisitions and growth/expansion situations.

Capital Point invests mezzanine capital in companies owned by established equity sponsor groups, companies with fundless sponsor involvement, and also directly with strong management teams. Capital Point’s investment sizes typically sought range from $3-$15 million.

Capital Point enjoys competitive advantages including its Founding Partners’ vast depth of experience, diversity of management and skill sets, and a rich history of successful mezzanine investing. Jeff Sangalis and Don Rice, Capital Point Managing Partners, have been investing together since 1987, originating more than 70 mezzanine transactions with aggregate investment values in excess of $1 billion. Through their independently owned predecessor entities, Capital Point’s Managing Partners are among the oldest, most experienced, and established groups of mezzanine investors in the United States. Mr. Alfred Jackson, also a Capital Point Managing Partner, has over 20 years investment experience with public money management firms, most recently as a principal with Davis Hamilton Jackson & Associates, an institutional public equity and fixed income investment firm with $4 billion under management.
